You could not ask for a better realtor! Mike made the home search and buying experience enjoyable. After meeting her, I knew immediately she was the “one” to sale my house. My husband and I are first time home buyers; the home buying process was uncharted territory for us and we weren't sure how challenging it would be. Team Hensely is a gem and we cannot sing enough praises about their professionalism and considerateness. From listening to their clients and understanding what their priorities are (from both a selling and buying perspective), to being available to answer questions or provide calm when waiting for feedback about offers or showings, they are a top notch group who make the process feel like you are part of their family. To Whom It May Concern, July 27, 2023 We are writing in reference to the outstanding service and overall experience we received from Annemarie Hensley of Compass Realty when selling our home of 19 years in the prestigious golf and lake front community of Lake Chesdin, in Chesterfield County, VA. One of our primary reasons for selecting Annemarie is that she originally sold us our home in June 2004, and has remained in contact with us over our nineteen years in residence. When we purchased in 2004, she strategically kept us in the loop, and helped us strategize in purchasing an almost mew 2-year-old home which had been vacant for half of that time due to a company/corporate relocation. We raised our 3 young children in the home, and who are all now successful professionals in NYC, Denver, and SC. We approached Annemarie to sell our home in 2021 as we began a design, build, downsize, and retirement project on the coast of southeastern NC. She was helpful during our 2-year journey of reducing clutter, and prepping our home, inside and out, to sell in early 2023. As our home in NC was coming to completion, Annemarie developed a plan and market strategy to list, and sell our home during a week that we would be out of town, in an effort to minimize the inconvenience of showings since Vicki has a home office. Early on, Annmarie even said, “I will sell the house the weekend you are gone. Quietly, I thought the statement was bold and aggressive (and appealing), however during 19 years of knowing Annemarie, she was never one to exaggerate or inflate the truth. The March 2023 week approached, and within 5 days of our home going on the market, she had 3 full price+ offers. Pre and post closing, we had a handful of hiccups and unusual requests from the purchaser and her inexperienced agent, and Annemarie helped guide us through each request. As I told Annemarie in our last meeting prior to leaving Chesterfield, that we had spent close to 3 years building a new home, selling our old home, making hundreds of decisions, with just as many professionals, that she was a breath of fresh air because Annmarie always did what she said she would do. There was never an over promise, under deliver, or need for a lame excuse. I would highly recommend and endorse Annemarie to handle any real estate transaction. Carey Kelly was amazing. As a first time home buyer she answered all my questions and toured numerous homes with me. She was even able to schedule a showing with two hours notice for the home I ended up buying! She has been fantastic to deal with from quick responses to even following up with me after I had moved in. I would use her again in a heart beat!

Hard to put into words how much Carey Kelly did for us. In this crazy market, she showed us countless houses - at least 30 - never once failing to do so and never once cancelling or even rescheduling on us. She responded to every question or request we had within minutes every time. It took us over 20 offers to finally land our home, and she was instrumental in helping craft the offer that finally won the day. She has also continued to hustle for us after we got the offer accepted - with inspection, appraisal, even getting vital information from the previous owners for us.
